About me and Emily Chickenson:
I'm Jill Alexander Essbaum. My mission is to make you laugh.
How these came to be: I was learning to cook (this is pre-vegan days). The chickens were so pretty that I began to take their pictures. But I got bored. So I began to amuse myself by dressing them in little outfits.
Then things got out of hand.
I came up first with the puns. Then I got to work.
Some of the props came from stores. Many, though, I made. Most, actually. And I sewed the little clothes and built the little scenes, and when it was all said and done, we undressed them and ate 'em (well, most of them).
NO CHICKEN IS A REPEAT!
This is the thing I've done I'm most proud of.
