Thank you, LO. I've long loved George Meredith's "Modern Love," an amazing sequence with a great title. The concept of "sixteen-line sonnets" interests me less than the intimacy of the poems in describing a marriage that is falling apart. It is very sexual and intense and way ahead of its (Victorian) time.
