This week we welcome Laurence Goldstein as our first guest blogger of the new year. Goldstein is Professor of English at the University of Michigan, where he has edited the fine Michigan Quarterly Review since 1977. His most recent book of poems is A Room in California (Northwestern University Press, 2005). He is also the author of The American Poet at the Movies. Find out more about Larry Goldstein here.
