AWP = Anybody Want Poetry? [Don Share]

After a 15-hour day (shorter than that of many conference-going folks), I have decided that for me, AWP stands for... Anybody Want Poetry?   It appears that folks do: I have lost count of how many copies of our own Poetry magazine, how many DVDs and CDs and "I, Too, Dislike It" buttons we have given away to folks.  It's a privilege and a joy to let poems wander freely.  We give away poetry 24/7 on our website - but there's something about handing people a print magazine that feels reassuring in this season of publisher-implosion.  When it comes to print and digital formats, I'd say that ours is not an either/or but an and/or world, at least for now.
