Lexical Music [by Simon Wickham-Smith]

Here is Lexical Music, by the Californian composer Charles Amirkhanian.  Amirkhanian was at the forefront of experimental music during the 1960s and 1970s and was the founder of the seminal 1750 Arch records.  Lexical Music, then, was one of the first text-sound poetry-music releases, and led the way for 10+2=12 Americal Text Sound Pieces.  And here is/are False Phonemes too, a tape compilation put out by the Tellus foundation in the early 1990s.  Nonetheless.
