A Tribute to Bill Evans

Bill Evans would have been
eighty years old this Sunday, August 16, 2009,
and on that day
at 8:30 p.m.
at the Cornelia Street Café
in downtown New York,
there will be a tribute to the master
featuring Andy LaVerne, pianist, student of Bill Evans, and jazz educator
AND Bill Zavatsky, poet, friend of Bill Evans, and others.
