Listed below are links to weblogs that reference Gyms and Poets [by Jennifer Michael Hecht]:

Well Jennifer this has set off all sorts of leaps and associations I don't even know where to begin. I found myself both arguing and agreeing with you. But the sentence that resonates deeply is "We are strong even though the peons do all the real work for us. We have special arenas marked as leisure where we get muscled at play." Is that ever the truth, and especially at the gym I go to and that is why I always feel a bit ashamed when I see the staff scrubbing the locker room and picking up after the beautiful ones as they emerge all pink and glowing from the sauna. I could go on.
