Life, friends, is a blindered run. As this image of the Black Forest Maze in The Land of Make Believe make perfectly clear, you can not always see over the walls. Nevertheless, we must not simply press on. Gotta suss some kind of pattern. Follow clues. A walnut may not think, though it looks like a brain, and a flame tastes not of sugar though its gentle light be sweet -- and yet, hindsight shows the world riddled with clues! They didn't just jump there like seashells on the himalayas. Next picture.
These flightless birds are the last of a great race whose habitat as you can see is sliding into the drink.
A lot of things may remain obscure. Part of that is just a matter of waiting, without, I must emphasize, without forgetting what it is you are waiting for. For which you are waiting.
Hope you are using the summer for some luxuriating. And remember kids, don't read the reviews. Of course people don't always like you at first! You are weird.
Love,
Jennifer
