This week we welcome Sharon Mesmer as our guest blogger. Sharon is a Fulbright Specialist, Jerome Foundation mentor (with
poet Elisabeth Workman), two-time NYFA poetry fellow, member of the
flarf collective, Polish, and star of the HBO mini-series "I Am The
LeBron James Of Fake Orange Snowballs!" Her recent books are Annoying
Diabetic Bitch (Combo, 2008), The Virgin Formica (Hanging Loose, 2008)
and the self-help prose-poem memoir What Halal Really Means to the
Japanese (Dead Fluffy Coyote, 2010). She teaches at the New School and
this spring in Orsk, Russia.
