Matthew Yeager is one of my favorite up and coming poets, completely original and surprising, so I was delighted that he agreed to be interviewed by David Lehman about "from A Jar of Balloons or the Uncooked Rice," the poem guest editor Amy Gerstler selected for this year's volume of BAP. It's the longest poem in the book and well worth every page.
