Dorothea Lasky is the author of Black Life and AWE, both out from Wave Books. She is also the author of numerous chapbooks, including Poetry is Not a Project (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2010). She lives in New York City.

Star Black's poems have been anthologized in The Penguin Book of The Sonnet, 110 Stories: New York Writers After September 11, and The Best American Erotic Poems: From 1880 to The Present. Her collages and hand-made books were recently shown at the Center for Book Arts. Her sixth volume of poetry, Velleity's Shade, was recently released in 2010. She founded the Monday Night Poetry Series at KGB Bar with David Lehman.

David Yezzi's books of poetry are The Hidden Model (TriQuarterly) and Azores (Swallow Press), a Slate magazine best book of the year. His poems have appeared recently in Poetry, The Atlantic Monthly, The Best American Poetry, The Pushcart Anthology, and Bright Wings, edited by Billy Collins. A verse drama, Dirty Dan & Other Travesties, starring Tony Torn, Sayra Player, and others was presented last year by Verse Theater Manhattan. A former director of the Unterberg Poetry Center of the 92nd Street Y in New York, he is executive editor of The New Criterion.
