Denise and Maureen have been collaborating for over twenty-five years. Their latest book Caprice: Collected, Uncollected, and New Collaborations houses their earlier volumes Exquisite Politics, Oyl, and Little Novels.
Denise Duhamel is the author of numerous poetry collections, including Blowout (a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award), Ka-Ching, Two and Two, and Queen for a Day: Selected and New Poems, all published by University of Pittsburgh Press. She served as the guest editor for The Best American Poetry 2013. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including fellowships from the NEA and Guggenheim Foundation. She teaches poetry at Florida International University in Miami.
Maureen Seaton is the author of seventeen poetry collections, both solo and collaborative—most recently, Fibonacci Batman: New & Selected Poems(Carnegie Mellon University Press). Her honors include the Iowa Poetry Prize, Lambda Literary Awards for both lesbian poetry and memoir, the Publishing Triangle’s Audre Lorde Award, the Society of Midland Authors Award, and an NEA Fellowship. Her work has been included in both the Pushcart Prize Anthology and Best American Poetry. She teaches poetry at the University of Miami, Florida. Follow her on twitter @ .
