« Waiting. [by Luke Meinzen] | Main | Spaceman Love [by Luke Meinzen] »

August 04, 2008

I love this photograph! and the way it summons up a sense of how hard it can be to get from there to here.

Incidentally, I know of one great Mongolian journey movie: Joan of Arc of Mongolia. Have you ever seen it, Luke?

My collages always look like the work of a seventh-grader. Yours look like art. (Not that I'm surprised, mind you.)

I think the key is tearing apart old books, stealing images from talented photoraphers, and throwing away the first 3 attempts. That, and obsessive-compulsive handwriting.
