This week we welcome back Sally Ashton as our guest blogger. Sally Ashton’s new prose poem collection, Her Name Is Juanita, (Kore Press) will be out this summer. Her work appears in the
forthcoming textbook anthology, An Introduction to the Prose Poem (Firewheel
Editions),
edited by Brian Clements and Jamey Dunham. She is editor of The DMQ Review, an
online journal featuring poetry and art since 1998. She teaches at San Jose State
