The poet Craig Morgan Teicher, an officer on the board of the National Book Critics Circle, has been editing a column for Critical Mass, the
NBCC blog. He directs the question "What Are you (Looking Forward to) Reading?" to various poets, critics, authors. My answers, together with W. T. Pfefferle's photo of me on my old block (MacDougal St between Bleecker and Minetta) with my old fedora (two hats ago), appear here. BTW I used to think that there was a town near Boston called Critical, Mass., where many natural-born critics lived, but then "MA" replaced "Mass" as the abbreviation of choice and they renamed "Critical" after a medieval university town in England. -- DL
