The KGB Monday Night Poetry Reading Series Presents . . . Amy Lawless & Patricia Carlin Amy Lawless is the author of Noctis Licentia (Black Maze Books, 2008). Her work has appeared in Sub-Lit, Scapegoat Review, The Paramanu Pentaquark, Canon Magazine, Red China Magazine, Forklift, Ohio, Portable Boog Reader 3, Agriculture Reader, Radioactive Moat, Pax Americana, Sink Review, and Barrow Street. Lawless holds a degree in journalism from Boston University and an MFA in poetry from The New School. Patricia Carlin’s new poetry collection Quantum Jitters appeared this spring from Marsh Hawk Press. Previous books include Original Green (poems) and Shakespeare’s Mortal Men (prose). She has published widely in journals and anthologies including Verse, Boulevard, BOMB, American Letters & Commentary, Pleiades, POOL, The Literary Review, and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency; and she has received fellowships from The MacDowell Colony and VCCA. She teaches literature and poetry writing at The New School, and she co-edits the poetry journal Barrow Street.
