This week we welcome John Lane as our guest blogger. John teaches environmental studies at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. He has an MFA in Poetry from Bennington College and, along with his wife Betsy Teter and Journalist Gary Henderson, is one of the founders of The Hub City Writers Project. He has published many books of poetry and prose including "Against Information and Other Poems," "Chattooga," "Circling Home," and "The Best of the Kudzu Telegraph." "Abandoned Quarry: New & Selected Poems" will be out in spring of 2011 from Mercer University Press.
