Dear Bleaders,
I found such a great sound for a bleading party here on "Jennifer Michael Hecht's
The Lion and the Honeycomb" the title of which is itself a gory story of Samsom killing a lion and coming back to visit the corpse as we all return to the scenes of our disasters, and finds a hive has built its honeycomb within the ex-beast's rib bones. He feeds the lion-carcass honey to his in-laws, tragedy ensues, everybody winds up dead.
Here it is: Jonathan Coulton's "Re: Your Brains"
Anywhy, the sky over Brooklyn is dreary dearies, all the leaves hanging like wet limp zombie hands. So lookit this video over and over and see if that don't cheer you up a nugget. That's streets ahead.I was going to sign off here, but let me say a little more about this song. If you see this whole thing and don't feel happier, you should try learning the words and singing along. If you do that, I gah run tea you'll be clinically happy. Also, that thing in your back will feel better. I know we'll get to common ground somehow.
5 minutes. 15 if you count the fact that you might play it three times. To change a life! Your own.
I'm on like no sleep. A mouse woke me up at 5 am and I go to sleep after 1, was the mouse playing dice? Sounded like it. Maybe she had a lozenge stuck to her tail and was trying to knock it off? I got up and looked behind the thing and saw mouse droppings but no mouse, no dice.
don't kill yourselves --
love,
Jennifer
