If you're in Boston, Mass on Saturday, November 6, 2010, you can join David Lehman fresh from sold-out performances in New York and London, as he leads a musical tour through the lives of legendary Jewish songwriters and composers. Drawing from Lehman's award winning book A Fine Romance: Jewish Songwriters, American Songs, The Boston Musical Theater, directed by Charlotte Kaufman, will perform the classic songs of Irving Berlin, the Gershwin brothers, Rodgers and Hart, Harold Arlen and others who taught Broadway to sing and Hollywood to dance. The performers include vocalists Mara Bonde, David Ripley, Tynan Davis, and Christopher King accompanied by Keala Kaumaheiwa on bass, Bertram Lehmann on drums, and music arranger Dan Loschen on piano.
