The marvelous Molly Peacock writes to encourage us to spread the word about the Troubador poetry competition, now accepting entries. Of the contest, Molly says: This is a marvelous contest, full of prestige, and they love poets from the US and Canada to consider. Even if a person doesn't win, there's a memory there of the good poems they have read, and that's always nice for things to come.
This year's contest will be judged by Susan Wicks & David Harsent (with both judges reading all poems)

Molly Peacock is marvelous indeed, and she has done much to spread the good word about poetry for many years. What I want to hear next is that someone will take her book, or Ed Hirsch's, or Robert Pinsky's, or preferably, all three, and launch a poetry circle on the grandest scale possible!--http://www.nashvillescene.com/nashville/well-versed/Content?oid=1183607
