This just in . . .Call for Submissions (No Fee): One Act Verse Play

Poet and playwright Alice Shapiro writes to tell us about the upcoming Turner Cassity Literary Festival and to encourage verse writers to enter the festival's playwrighting competition:

A One-Act Verse Play (30 minutes or less) will be chosen to have a staged reading at the Second Annual Turner Cassity Literary Festival on Saturday, July 14. Local playwrights will judge the competition and a community theater group will read. Please keep the cast to 5 or less characters. Deadline: Postmarked by Monday, May 21, 2012 and Notification by June 6. If you want your manuscripts back please provide a SASE. No email submissions.
