To the bassinette  

Marmoset and marmalade
Are martyrin’ the dude
Oh, how we gonna execute 
Without exactitude

Boutonnière, boutonnière, 
Buddha bourguignon
And Chicu-chicu cheek-cheek
Rushin’ at the sun

Sigh away, Starlight!
Leisure, suit yourself!
Suitable, immutable
And Buddha on the shelf

With a pitter-pat and cheek-cheek
Never goin’ home
Peter Pan and Queequeg
Floatin’ on the foam

Like an S.O.S. and MAYDAY
