This week we welcome John Chinnici as our guest author. Johnny works as a writer and editor for literary and educational non-profits. He holds an MFA from The New School, where he helped coordinate the program's robust reading series, and lives in Manhattan.

A Selection of Contemporary Australian Poetry: Beginning on October 4 and continuing on Sundays for the next several weeks, we'll be treated to Australian poetry, selected by Alan Wearne (left). Alan has
been part of the Australian poetry scene since 1968, his main contributions
being in the areas of verse novels and verse narratives with a more than
occasional mutual seduction with the satiric muse. In 2010 he set up Grand Parade Poets publishing, which has produced six books. You can find his first column, with Ode to Karl Marx by John Forbes, here.
