This week we welcome Rachel Fayne Gruskin as our guest author. Rachel was born in Miami, Florida and obtained her English degree from The University of Central Florida in Orlando and her MFA in Poetry from The New School, with additinal post-graduate work in poetry at Columbia University. Rachel lives in South Florida and splits her time between hosting duties, teaching, and freelance writing. For the past two years, she has hosted and written for Beyond the Book, a television program based on visiting places written about in popular books and interviews with visiting authors. Rachel also teaches a variety of English classes at Broward College and Digital Media Arts College. Her publications are primarily poetry and lifestyle pieces, and her latest article for The Travel Channel can be found on its website. Her poetry honors and publications include work in Shampoo, The Furnace Review, Westview Newspaper, The Smoking Poet, Caffeine Destiny, and Calliope.
