Happy New Year! We kick of 2015 with Daniel Westover's return as our guest author. Daniel's poems have appeared in North American Review, Crab Orchard Review, Tar River Poetry, Southeast Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, Measure, and in several recent anthologies, including The Southern Poetry Anthology: Tennessee and Poems of Devotion: An Anthology of Recent Poets. His books include Toward Omega (2005), an ekphrastic collaboration with photographer Vincent Serbin, and R. S. Thomas: A Stylistic Biography, a biography of the Welsh priest-poet. Recent articles focus on the work of R. S. Thomas, Geoffrey Hill, and Leslie Norris. His forthcoming books include The World is Charged: Poetic Engagements with Gerard Manley Hopkins (an anthology), Michael Fargo's Epistle (a novel), and Leslie Norris: a Ghost Story (a biography). Daniel holds an MFA from McNeese State University and a PhD from the University of Wales. He is currently Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in English at East Tennessee State University.
