Lord George Byron (1788-1824)
enjoyed Armenian Language and created
English-Armenian dictionary.
I don't think many know about this ...
He said the Armenian Language is God's spoken language.

Sylva Portoian, MD

Lord Byron’s famous phrase about the Armenian Language,
“God Spoke the Armenian Language”
“I found the Armenian Language–which is the twin, the literal and the
vulgar difficult, yet not invincible; It is a rich language, and
would repay anyone the trouble of learning it.

I didn't know this about Lord Byron, Sylva Portoian. Thank you for bringing it to the attention of our readers.

Let me add my thanks for your comment, Sylvia Portoian. Byron never ceases to astonish me.
