I agree with you who agree with Williams that the improvisations in "Kora in Hell" are "not like French prose poems, but to my mind they are poems in prose, or rather, one long poem in prose." And the improvisational nature of the work is, to my mind, even more interesting than the actual results. Thanks for this thoughtful column.
