rest in peace and poetry

I went back to him time and time again. He was a towering figure. May God have mercy on his immortal soul, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Wonderful, wonderful. What a great poem that I had not encountered before. May he rest in eternal peace.

Blessings upon him, his spirit and the wonderful poetry he gave us. I read him often and I was reading him when he left. But you know he remains with us in his work, so strong so beautiful.

Thanks for this beautiful poem, Terence. For me, at least, it has a distant echo in a quite different medium, the Irish pub song Danny Farrell: "He's a loser, a boozer, a me-and-you user...still now, Danny Farrell, he's a man.

You're most welcome, Peter. I don't know that song,
and I thought I knew them all.
