« The New York School Diaspora (Part Twenty-Five): Mary Ruefle [by Angela Ball] | Main | The Haiku Masters of Japan drop in for a visit [by David Lehman] »

March 09, 2022

I am very sorry to hear this news! I met Jordie in the late 80 s
when we read together at the “ well known” STONE SOUP Readings in Cambridge, Massachusetts, U S
Although it was over 30years ago, she stayed firmly lodged in my memory.
She had the soul of a poet. I’m sad to think we will never give a reading together again ; as we talked about then.

R, I, P.

Jordie ❤️
