George Gershwin, born today (September 26, 1898), painted this picture. He thought he could do everything: compose, play piano, play tennis, paint, dance. . .

Oferchrissake. George and Ira’s sister was a painter full on, showed at the Phoenix Gallery co-op in the 60s. Blanking on her name, she didn’t use Gershwin but her married name…
